The granddaddy of all Hawaii bicycle races, the Dick Evans Memorial race, is now accepting entries. Featuring 112 miles of racing around the perimeter of Oahu, winning the Dick Evans is generally considered the greatest cycling achievement in these islands.
This years edition of the race will kick off on Sunday September 1st at 5:45 AM in Hawaii Kai. Awards will be presented to the top five men, top three women, first junior, and best three teams. New for this year, however, there will also be awards for the top riders Cat 1/2/3 riders, 4/5 riders, and one day US Cycling license holders.
